Born 3rd of 4 sisters, (Mae, Tina & Chris) in Dallas Texas to the proud parents of Clifford and Mary Lucas. On or about the age of 4, our family relocated and settled in Natchitoches LA. where my parents, my siblings and I were sent to start a ministry at the Lake Street Church of Christ, in the Jackson Square Community of Natchitoches LA., by the late Bro. German McGilbra, minister of Dallas West Church of Christ, Dallas TX., where I am currently a member and Bro. Ambrose Lacaze Jr. is Minister. Our family traveled a lot to fellowship with other Sister Congregations. Daddy preaching and the “The Lucas Girls” singing. It had not occurred to me that we were stewards of God’s grace at a noticeably young age. We loved doing it, so “why not?” were our thoughts. And as I Peter 4:10-11 states, each of us should use whatever gift/gifts that we have received to serve as faithful stewards of God’s grace. And that we did, gladly! Our family has been blessed with musical talents for 5 generations. The Lucas Girls, The Lucas Family, The Remnants of Harmony, Cliff & Co., Cliff Ave. of which includes my nieces, nephews, my 3 sons (Cliff, Johnny Jr. Johnathn), who are all multi-talented and successful professional entrepreneurs. My Granddaughters, Ciaria and Kennedy Nichols are aspiring to continue the legacy as well. I am a retired individual who strives to be a positive influence in the community, making sound decisions guided by my strong belief in religious principles. Living my life by God’s standards is my goal. I am a Ladies Class Teacher, I am an Inspirational Song Directress for various Ladies Seminars and Lectureships, a member of the Wisdom Working Working Women Scholarship Organization, member of the Natchitoches Community Choir, Voice Coach, LDA/Legal Document Tech, Committee member for the LA. State Youth Conference, member of The Look Good Feel Better Foundation sponsored by the American Cancer Society, Caregiver for Special Needs Seniors, Founder of C Phi C(Celibacy For Christ)1990, Founder of Round Table Divas(Group of single Christian women) 1977,
